Laurent Fischer, M.D., a serial entrepreneur, is president and CEO of Ocera Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company developing compounds for Crohn’s and other gastro-intestinal diseases. Dr Fischer was a founder of four healthcare companies ranging from early research to drug distribution and e-marketing. Dr. Fischer received his undergraduate degree from the University of Geneva and his medical degree from the Geneva Medical School, Switzerland. |

He served as the Director of Revenue for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and completed a dedicated 12 year tenure of service for the New York City Government, Department of Transportation. Agapito graduated from Harvard University with a Master in Public Administration and received a Master in Education from Rutgers University. |
