A grand opening of another first for the Connie Norman Transgender

Empowerment Center (CONOTEC):  A full-service Health Care Clinic

opening on the second floor of the CONOTEC – named the Connie Norman

Transgender Health Care Clinic

WHEN:

Saturday, March 14, 2026 || 10:00 AM Press Conference

10:30 AM Ribbon Cutting || 11:00 AM Tour || Noon – 4 PM Health Resource Fair

WHY:              With support from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, FLUX remains the only coordinated global Trans-led organization that has:

  • Created the nation’s first community workspace at the Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center for local Trans-led organizations, at no cost to them, supporting the expansion of their services
  • FLUX continues its mission to raise the profile of the transgender and non-binary community by creating safe space, innovative advocacy & events for the Community at the CONOTEC. This major addition of the Clinic to CONOTEC will be key to Community members, as they will now have access to services provided in their neighborhood.
  • The addition of the Connie Norman Transgender Health Clinic, which can provide all needed health care services and HIV and STI Testing, will provide a safe and welcoming facility that is ‘Open For ALL.’
