AHF Expands Health Care Services to Address Orlando’s Critical Needs

New location for HIV/AIDS specialty services will offer expanded services, including free STI/STD prevention and treatment services, primary medical care, individualized case management, and a food pantry, providing access to healthy foods.  Ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 10:30 am at 707 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, Florida.

 

ORLANDO, FL (September 16, 2025) AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), the world’s largest non-profit HIV/AIDS service organization, which has been in the local community since 2003, is expanding its services, opening a new location at 707 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL.  This new facility will expand medical services provided at its previous location on Mills Avenue.  Florida State Representative Anna Eskamani and State Senator Carlos Guillermo will join AHF President Michael Weinstein and other local civic and community leaders for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 10:30 am.  The new facility, open Monday – Friday, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, will also provide primary care services, onsite labs, telehealth services, individualized case management, free STD/STI prevention and treatment services, access to PrEP, a new food pantry, offering free healthy foods and AHF’s non-profit pharmacy, and will continue AHF’s commitment to providing access to innovative healthcare services, regardless of one’s ability to pay.

WHY:               According to recent statistics from HIV.gov, Orange County, Florida, reported

400 newly diagnosed individuals with HIV and the state of Florida reported 3200 new cases.

 

AHF also provides free, confidential HIV/AIDS testing and access to its non-profit pharmacy at its Out of the Closet Thrift Store located at 1349 N. Mills Avenue, Orlando, Florida, where $0.96 cents of every dollar is invested back into the community to support local HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention and treatment services.  To learn more about AHF, visit ahf.org.
