Looking for STI/ HIV services?

AHF Mexico

AHF Mexico, the largest AIDS Healthcare Foundation program in Latin America, focuses on expanding rapid testing access and connecting clients to life-saving treatment. The program offers advanced HIV testing, syphilis screening, counseling, free condoms and lubricants, educational materials, and comprehensive medical care for sexually transmitted infections.

To date, more than 1 million rapid tests have been administered nationwide since 2007, helping more than 6,000 clients diagnosed with HIV to know their HIV status and access medical care and providing counseling to stop the spread of the pandemic and prevent STIs.

AHF Mexico has partnered with local organizations, NGOs, and local governments to expand its services throughout the country, allowing for better patient retention.

In 2013, AHF Mexico launched its first mobile clinic, delivering accessible and comprehensive care to clients. That same year, the first Wellness Center opened in Mexico City, followed by centers in Cuernavaca (2016), Guadalajara (2018), and Mérida. These Wellness Centers provide HIV testing, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, ensuring critical health services reach communities across Mexico.

AHF Mexico develops programs to improve medical care for people, expand ongoing access to treatment, and advocate for affordable drug prices throughout the country.
