GIFT Disclosure
(Non-US)
What is a gift?
A gift is anything someone gives you because of your work with AHF. A gift can be a present, free food or events, or a perk.
Examples of gifts include:
- Money, gift cards, or free meals
- Travel or hotel stays
- Discounts or special favors not offered to everyone
Why should you share it?
Gifts to AHF staff can make it look like AHF is not fair. Most of the time, you should politely say no to gifts. If you cannot refuse a gift without causing embarrassment, you must:
- Accept it for your department or AHF (not for yourself)
- Share it with your office
- Tell your manager
- Disclose it here
Tell Us About A Gift
Please use the form below to tell us about your gift. After you submit, we will review your report and follow up if needed. If you are not sure whether something is a gift, it is okay, please disclose it anyway.
Do you have Your Own potential conflict of interest to disclose?
A conflict of interest happens when you have a personal interest or relationship that is potentially at odds with AHF's interest. Conflicts of interest are not necessarily a problem, but they. must be disclosed. Please click this link to make a disclosure.
Looking to report fraud or corruption?
If you are trying to report fraud, corruption, or misuse of AHF money or supplies (not an HR issue), please use our Fraud & Corruption Reporting page.
