Transgender Challenges Around the World

Transgender Challenges Around the World has assembled trans warriors that have kept the struggle for change alive. These advocates will get real about the struggles faced in accessing HIV care and services, exclusionary policies, the erasure of trans stories— and how they thrive no matter the surmounting odds. All of this moderated by the eccentric FLUX President, Queen Victoria Ortega!

Girls and young women are taking charge at the AHF Girls Act Global Village booth. Open to the general public, this virtual booth showcases AHF’s transformative initiative to empower girls and young women across 13 countries. Stop by for a chance to chat with our youth advocates and future world leaders!

Want to learn more about our scientific work? With a presence in 45 countries and 1.4 million clients in our care, we have a vast amount of clinical and operational research data to share, including on HIV testing modalities, linkage to care, reaching key populations, optimizing care, and addressing policy barriers – check out our research posters along with brief recorded presentations by the authors.

We have a lot to share, but we also want to hear and learn from you – we hope to see you at our booth and satellites for a chance to interact. Let’s make the most of AIDS 2020: Virtual as we continue to fight the global HIV/AIDS pandemic in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic – together we are stronger!
