AHF affinity group that engages, supports and connects gay men globally will celebrate its 10th anniversary Sunday, December 1st at L.A.’s historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre

 

After gala dinner, Impulse members will attend AHF’s free World AIDS Day Concert hosted by Primetime Emmy-winner Billy Porter with performances by Faith Evans, Daya and Miss Shalae

 

LOS ANGELES (November 26, 2019) IMPULSE GROUP, a global organization with 500+ volunteers on five continents whose purpose is to engage, support and connect gay men, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a gala dinner and awards ceremony on Sunday, December 1st  at the historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.

 

The Impulse dinner is being held in conjunction with AHF’s observation of World AIDS Day 2019. After the gala dinner, Impulse members will have the opportunity to attend AHF’s free World AIDS Day Los Angeles concert kicking off at 7:30 pm—also at the Ebell—and hosted by Primetime Emmy-award winner Billy Porter with performances by Faith Evans, Daya and Miss Shalae.

 

Working in collaboration with AHF, Impulse volunteers—now spanning 25 cities in 12 countries on 5 continents—creates campaigns, events, and online content to reach a new generation of LBGT individuals who live in a rapidly evolving world. “How we engage with our community is key,” says Jose Ramos, Founder of Impulse Group. “We all enjoy a good party, so why not give that party a purpose and add some messaging?”

 

Over its first decade, Impulse Group has produces over 750 events and over 20 campaigns covering issues from the growing use of drugs like methamphetamine, suicide and depression within the gay community, and most notably its campaign immediately following the deadly Pulse shooting in Orlando, FL. Impulse is also now the largest global HIV/Wellness group.
