International Day of the Girl Child 2019

Even though HIV disproportionately affects millions of young women and girls around the world – and particularly in sub-Saharan Africa where girls account for 80% of all new HIV infections among adolescents ages 15-19 – many girls are being empowered to stay in school, gain self-confidence and take control of their lives by being in charge of their physical and emotional health.

On the International Day of the Girl Child 2019, AIDS Healthcare Foundation invites you to watch a touching film about how five girls around the globe are realizing their dreams of a happy and healthy future through Girls Act – an empowerment campaign that lifts up girls and gives them the tools they need to succeed.

Help bring awareness to girls who are winning their battles with HIV by watching the film and sharing this with your friends and family today! Watch the Film Here
