(Long Beach residents and married couple Mina Meyer and Sharon Raphael rode in the Rose Parade on the float where gay couple Danny Leclair and Aubrey Loots were married. Meyer and Raphael were selected to ride the float because they have been LGBT activists for more than 40 years and helped create the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which sponsored the wedding float.
