California’s of Department Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) will convene its first meeting of an Advisory Panel to explore strengthening adult film worker safety regulations in California. During its Standards Board meeting in March in Costa Mesa, the Board voted unanimously to convene the Advisory Panel in order to take public comment from health advocates, industry officials and the general public on whether—and how—to amend state health statutes to better protect adult film workers.

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) announced today that it had enlisted two former adult performers, Desi and Elli Foxx, to sue the Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation (AIM) for alleged violations of medical privacy laws. The lawsuit is expected to be filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Florida regulators, acting on a complaint by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, have begun probing condom-less production shoots by Bang Bros Films, Hustler Video, Josh Stone Productions and Reality Kings Productions.
Officials are investigating "sanitary nuisance" complaints relative to 10 videos the companies shot in Florida. The AHF said that it filed the complaint with the Florida Health Department because the state does not have a designated occupational safety and health division.
