Lisha Wilson, M.D. is Medical Director of the AHF Magic Johnson Oakland and San Francisco clinics and is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Wilson is highly skilled in HIV/AIDS care and treatment. While a chief resident at Highland General Hospital working in Internal Medicine she developed close relationships with patients living with HIV/AIDS and from there began her commitment to HIV disease management. She began as a primary care physician at the Adult Immunology Clinic at Highland Hospital and was then promoted to Division Chief. Dr. Wilson has worked closely and collaboratively with AMASSI, Cal-PEP, WORLD, APEP, EBCRP, Children’s Hospital, EBAC, ACMC, EOCP, in various capacities including in-service HIV updates, participation in numerous community forums, committee and board meetings.
Dr. Wilson completed her undergraduate work at the University of the Pacific and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. In addition, she earned a doctor of medicine degree from the Howard University College of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Highland General Hospital.
