Infectious Disease Specialist
Aaron Shelub, MD is a board-certified infectious disease specialist at the San Fernando Valley Healthcare Center.
Dr. Shelub is a 2006 Solomon Scholar and holds professional memberships in the Infectious Disease Society of America, the Infectious Disease Association of California and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Shelub is currently involved in research related to coccidioidal meningitis in the post-fluconazole era at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. He has also been actively involved in research projects at both Harbor-UCLA Arnold Bayer Laboratory Research and the University of California Santa Cruz National Products Chemistry.
Dr. Shelub received his medical degree from Sackler Medical School, Tel Aviv University, Israel. He completed an internal medical residency at St. Mary Medical Center Long Beach, CA/Harbor UCLA in Torrance, CA and is presently enrolled in the UCLA-Affiliated Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program. Dr. Shelub received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz where he graduated with honors and received a special professor commendation as top organic chemistry student.
