Attention Volunteer Recruits!

Now is the time to get on board and become a part of our growing Volunteer Program here at AIDS Healthcare Foundation's (AHF) Public Health Division (PHD).

Why is this a great opportunity?

First and foremost, we are the largest HIV/AIDS Provider in the United States, running the largest HIV testing agency in California.  Our mission is "to provide cutting-edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay."

Are you beginning to think this is pretty amazing?  Keep reading!

There are a variety of areas that are in need of skilled and dedicated people such as yourselves, like our Out of the Closet thrift stores where $0.96 of every dollar goes directly into supporting our services and the Mobile Testing Units that travel out to the communities to provide testing services at different venues and special events across the Los Angeles County.

Whew!  Need more?!

Volunteers will have a chance to work closely with professional HIV/AIDS advocates, earn school credit (if applicable), attend special events, and gain work experience in the HIV/AIDS field.  We also provide opportunities for our volunteers to attend trainings to become certified HIV Testing Counselors, helping us reach our testing goals and spread the word on the importance of  knowing one's HIV status.

Still interested? Then what are you waiting for?!

Please send your resume highlighting your work history and volunteer experience (if any) and a brief description of why you would be a great volunteer candidate for AHF's PHD.  Please address it as follows Attention:  PHD Volunteer Inquiry and email to PHDVolunteers@aidshealth.org or fax to (213) 405-5881. We will notify you with more details once we have received and reviewed your information.
