Volunteering
AHF volunteers directly influence their communities by supporting our HIV testing and prevention efforts, working in our healthcare centers and agitating for lifesaving changes to corporate and governmental policies.
Depending on your interest and availability, you can answer phones in our office, drop off condoms at your local bar or assist with testing outreach at an Out of the Closet Thrift Store. As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to attend special events and work closely with leading HIV/AIDS advocates. Our Counselor Training Program also offers dedicated individuals the opportunity to become certified testing counselors.
To join our growing volunteer program, please fill out an application (pdf) and send it, along with your resume, to Jessica.Reinhart@aidshealth.org.
