In a Baltimore Sun opinion piece published this past Sunday, March 23rd, AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s President, Michael Weinstein and its Chief of Medicine, Homayoon Khanlou, M.D. called for the suspension of costly HIV vaccine research funding and the re-allocation of resources into effective HIV/AIDS prevention, testing and treatment strategies proven to save lives.
