Lawrence Peters is an inside sales manager for Bonnier Corporation. He is responsible for the sale of print and digital advertising for major magazine brands, including Caribbean Travel & Life, Islands, Boating, Scuba Diving, Sport Diver and Spa. Before joining Bonnier, he held various sales management positions with Hachette Filipacchi Media (now part of the Hearst Corporation), Wenner Media, the Hearst Corporation and Ziff-Davis Publishing Company. Peters has served on the board of directors of AIDS Treatment Registry, Multitasking Systems of New York and Village Care of New York. Peters joined AHF’s board of directors in 2001. He is the past chair of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Marketing Council and a past member of the DMA, the DMA Catalog Council, the New England Mail Order Association, the New York New Media Association and Out Professionals. He has a master’s degree in nonprofit management from New School University and a bachelor’s in English from Georgetown University, from which he graduated magna cum laude.
