Anita Ann Williams
Anita A. Williams is the senior public health nurse epidemiologist for Los Angeles County’s HIV Epidemiology Program. Williams is a founding member and senior vice president of Project Africa Global, a nonprofit providing medical and educational services in the U.S. and Africa, and an advisory board member for the Economic Development Fund Foundation. She also works as an advisory board member of the North Central Florida Boys & Girls Club and of the ZONDLE Boys Home & Orphanage in Manzini, Swaziland. In 1987 to 1988, she was principal investigator of a prospective study on risk of HIV in neonatal transfusion recipients in Los Angeles County in collaboration with CDC. Williams received her BSN from Florida A & M University.
