Angelina C. Wapakabulo

Mrs. Angelina C. Wapakabulo is the co-founder of Development Initiatives International and the Market Vendors AIDS Project (MAVAP). MAVAP is an initiative that addresses HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, care and support to market communities in Uganda. In February 2009, the President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni appointed Wapakabulo Uganda’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya as well as Uganda Permanent Representative to the United Nations Environment Program and UN-HABITAT. Wapakabulo has been associated with AHF since 2001 and served as the bureau advisor for the East/West Africa Bureau for three years.
